STUDENT WORK

As an adjunct professor at the Art Institute in Charleston I was responsible for both Advanced Commercial Design, and lecturing in History of Art and Architecture History. The work below shows some of my students work in my studio class. I enjoyed pushing them to create elegant and creative designs for the corporate offices of two major magazines of their choice.

The first design is a combination office for Rolling Stone and Dupont Registry. What resulted is the marriage of engine parts and musical instruments. Allowing a truly inspired office.

This design was a combination of Gourmet Magazine and Travel and Leisure. Lighting fixtures were inspired from the natural world such as sea creatures and pollen buds. The floor plan has a combination of the globe mixed with design that allude to the culinary importance of the space.
